House of Microbiome

House of Microbiome

Each of our bodies are colonized by millions of bacteria, the collection of which is known as the microbiome. There are distinct communities of bacteria in various parts of the body such as the gut, the skin, and the mouth to name a few. Each of these communities interacts with each other and the human body to impact many aspects of our health. Antibiotics, probiotics, HIV, diet and medications can all alter and disturb the microbiome and change the balance of power in the Game of T cells. As new research comes in we will highlight what factors make House Microbiome ally with House CD4, House CD8, or some other force in the Game.
