Hey Dear Readers—-now that GoTc….is back from the dead (like Jon Snow)….There are gonna be some changes around here….not only is there a new categorical scale that rates the immune system from unstressed to failing apart (4 categories actually, see Post #22) but we are pushing beyond the known world. In “Season 1 GoTc” we had monochromatic “Houses” like House CD4.
Now, though, we are expanding our analogies from th
e Game of Thrones world to other great fantasies, including a common motif, “schools”. Think Kaen Mohr of the “Witcher” (more to come but basically a School on how exercise is linked to immune health).
Silverlight from the Cosmere for you Sanderson nerds, and even Shiz University from “Wicked”. All places far beyond even the imagination of GRR Martin. “Schools” as opposed to Houses will be dichromatic, come with Mascots rather than sigils…and more to come on how they differ. Given how some governments and corporations have seemingly given up on diversity, we will go in the opposite direction and become more inclusive. Pointedly, though, I’m afraid we can’t welcome everyone, if the “invitee” isn’t also welcoming….so there will be no Hogwarts-inspired school in Game of T cells. I’m sure readers of this blog are aware of MANY fantasy worlds that I’m not…and that some of those fantasy worlds use the school trope to explore ideas and new knowledge. So if you want to suggest a fantasy world or school for us to include….please do so!
